On October 7, CATL signed an agreement to deepen strategic cooperation with Neta Auto. Dr. Robin Zeng, chairman and general manager of CATL, and Zhang Yong, co-founder and CEO of Neta Auto, attended the signing ceremony. 

According to the agreement, CATL will continue to support Neta Auto’s marketing activities, including cooperation in new projects and new technologies, supply of Shenxing batteries, and overseas business expansion. During the signing ceremony, the two parties exchanged their views on comprehensive electrification and business expansion of electric vehicles on the global markets, and reached a consensus on further in-depth cooperation. 

Dr. Robin Zeng said that CATL has been promoting CTC (Cell to Chassis) technology, laying the groundwork for electric vehicle manufacturers. In the future, CATL will remain focused on technology innovation in EV battery to provide global passenger vehicle customers with more competitive and quality-assured products, jointly promoting the early realization of comprehensive electrification and the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality. 

Zhang Yong said that going global is crucial for the further development of electric vehicle manufacturers. Establishing long-term strategic partnership and deepening cooperation will help both parties develop together, go global together, and achieve greater breakthroughs in global markets together. 

For a long time, CATL and Neta Auto have maintained close cooperation, and the two parties have established a good partnership as early as during the production of Neta Auto’s first model. In recent years, the two parties have been promoting comprehensive strategic cooperation, and broadening and deepening the partnership through exploring different modes of cooperation such as technology research and development and supply chain assurance. The signing of this agreement is also an important move aimed at the future by CATL. By providing the world-leading EV battery technology and solutions for customers such as Neta Auto in the long term, CATL will further promote the high-quality development of the electric vehicle industry.
